A member of the prayer plant family, this tricolor plant with green and white leaves and pink undersides knows its own beauty. Give it moist soil and a high level humidity. As with most prayer plants, they dislike tap water due to the strong chemicals in the water, which may cause crispy leaves. It is best to use distilled or rain water. In most cases, you can let the tap water sit out overnight so that the chemicals can evaporate before watering the plant. This plant resembles night sky photography, hence the name "Magic Star."
