Flat Rate | Heat Packs | Insurance

We ship all orders through USPS Priority Mail (1-3 Business Days).

Standard Flat Rate: $10 (suitable for non-plant purchases since it does not come with insurance).

Flat Rate w/ Plant Insurance: $16 (covers replacement or full refund of any damaged plants during transit due to cold or heat damage or delay). Insurance does not cover lost packages. Subject to review by Bark & Vine and must provide pictures of plant.

Shipping Carrier.

All domestic orders are shipped from New Haven, CT. We offer USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days) . Please allow 5 business days for your order to be processed. We typically ship plants every Tuesday morning!

Local Delivery.

We currently do not offer local deliveries, but can make arrangements for New Haven residents with any bulk order or large purchases. Please reach out to us to inquire more information.

In-Store Pick Up.

In-store pick up is available during store business hours. Please come to the front register and let an associate know. Sun 12-6 PM, Closed on Mondays, Tues through Sat 11-7 PM.

Weather.

We make sure the plants we ship out are in their best condition, but Mother Nature may sometimes interfere with that. Houseplants are best kept in temperatures between 50-80F. Please keep this in mind when you place your order. It is best to bring in your plant mail as soon as possible during extreme weather. We are not responsible for any cold or heat damage if your plants are delayed by the postal service. We suggest purchasing our Flat Rate with Insurance for shipping.

Where Do You Ship?

We only ship to the contiguous USA.

Confirmation.

Customers can not place orders unless a valid e-mail is provided. Upon placing an order, you will receive two emails from us. The first one is a confirmation of your order, typically sent within minutes of checkout. The second e-mail is sent out with tracking information when your order is processed. 

Lost Packages

We will try our best to help you locate the missing items, but Bark & Vine is not responsible for any lost or stolen items once it leaves our shop. Contact your local post office or the police to file for lost or stolen packages. Once your package leaves our facility, our access to them is limited to what USPS website is able to provide. We suggest contacting USPS to file a claim for lost packages in order to get compensated for any items that may have been damaged or lost during transit. USPS is responsible for damages that occurs during transit.

Potted Plants.

All plants in the shop will be shipped in their existing nursery pots, unless otherwise noted. We do not ship our plants bare-root.
