December has always been a special month for me. I love the holiday season for its festive foods and activities, snowy days, and opportunities to see family and friends, but a real highlight is hand-picking and gifting thoughtful presents to my loved ones. It also happens to be my birthday month, which just adds to all of the fun!

This lush houseplant features striking deep red blooms that really pop against dark green foliage. A great choice for beginner plant parents, lipstick plants thrive in bright, indirect light and half-dry soil. Larger plants can live in a hanging basket to showcase their beautiful draping vines. They are also pet safe which makes them a perfect gift to give. The lipstick plant has become a favorite of mine, and I always get excited to see them flower in the shop!
